A POINT MUST IN SUBSIDIARY ICT BY Atwine SolomonÂ
The A level Subsidiary ICT syllabus, implemented by the NCDC in 2013, encompasses a wide range of topics, making it challenging for teachers to cover all the material within the allotted time while also allowing for practical work. To address this issue, I have authored this book, which enables students to independently cover the entire syllabus through the comprehensive set of questions and answers provided. By utilizing this resource, students can seek guidance from their teachers while minimizing the need for extensive notetaking in class. Consequently, this approach frees up valuable time for practical activities and discussions on other subjects.
The book consists of over 2000 questions and answers compiled from marking guides and as wells from other past papers.
Teachers can also use this book as their question reference bank for assessing their students to prepare them for their final examination.
Furthermore, forthcoming editions of the book will incorporate updated questions and answers. We kindly request your active participation in providing feedback to us via email or WhatsApp, as it plays a vital role in shaping future editions.
Both students with less knowledge and those with less ICT expertise can benefit from this book. Since the introduction of the syllabus in 2013, I have provided many questions and several scenario responses for each number. These questions have been posed in various years. I think reading this book will give students more confidence and life experience.
Finally, All the misfortunes, if any, in this book are solely my own responsibility as it is challenging to attain perfection. I would appreciate any comments or compliments addressed to me. No one possesses a monopoly on knowledge, and scientific theories do not emerge out of nothingness. Every scientist builds upon the work of their predecessors. This edition allows me to express my gratitude to all those who have contributed to the potential improvement of this book. I am thankful to those individuals who have dedicated their efforts to proofreading and provided invaluable suggestions throughout the book’s preparation.Â
